Together for Change was set up in 2014 as a joint venture between the Church Urban Fund (CUF) and the Diocese of Coventry.

CUF has been active in local communities for over 30 years. Their vision is to see people and communities all over England flourish and enjoy life in all its fullness.

CUF works through the Church of England’s local parish networks, and alongside other faith-based and secular organisations, to bring about positive change in neighbourhoods. One of the main ways in which CUF works locally is through the Together Network, a union of faith-based partnerships across England driven by the desire to tackle social inequality.

In 2021, TFC's relationship with CUF shifted from receiving core funding to becoming a partner in the CUF-led Together Network. This network has allowed TFC to participate in a national movement that supports local action. As a core member of the network, TFC collaborates with others to share strategies, theology, and resources and has helped to shape the future of the network.

Additionally, TFC is able to take part in the annual Together Network conference, providing opportunities to network, collaborate and access training.
