THE NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND

REACHING COMMUNITIES ENGLAND
The National Lottery Community Fund, through its Reaching Communities England Grant, has been a vital partner in the success of our Saints Central project over the past five years.
This generous funding has supported key aspects of the project, including contributions towards energy costs and and salaries for our senior members of staff.
Their ongoing support has been essential in establishing and growing Saints Central, enabling us to provide crucial services to the local community and move towards becoming a sustainable social enterprise.
Thanks to this funding, we now engage with up to 600 individuals each week, offering vital support and creating a lasting impact for our local Nuneaton community.

NATIONAL LOTTERY COST OF LIVING FUND
At Saints Central we provide a welcoming environment for people to come in and enjoy something from our affordable training café or use it as a warm hub, enjoying support groups and activities. The surrounding levels of deprivation were exacerbated by the cost of living crisis, leaving many in our local community are unable to meet their most basic of needs.
Whilst income from café sales decreased, we saw a substantial increase in the number of beneficiaries attending our free or subsidised food provisions and activities. As a social enterprise, we are committed to serving affordable food and offering free activities for our community to enjoy.
To support Saints Central with the increased financial pressure of rising overheads and increased food cost, we received funding from the National Lottery Cost of Living Fund. From this funding we were able to continue and even expand on the critical services we able to deliver to the local community.
