SAINTS
BAR POOL

Saints Bar Pool is our second Saints project, and it is set to open its doors in late Spring 2025. This project will follow the model of Saints Central, but the projects and activities we run will be shaped around the needs of those living locally. Saints Bar Pool will be led by Together for Change and work in partnership with local churches, just like Saints Central. The project will be a social enterprise, which means that all the income that we generate is fed back into our various projects.
Saints Bar Pool will be based on Vernons Lane and sits within the ‘Bar Pool North and Crescents’ LSOA, which is one of the most deprived areas in Nuneaton. The site - which is currently a closed down shop unit - will become a vibrant, well-decorated, welcoming and warm environment.
The core mission of the project will be to provide a community-led warm welcome for local people to enjoy, access activities and courses, and engage with various agencies and partners. We will focus on tackling issues related to unemployment, training, education, skills development, income and crime, as well as any further issues identified through local people.
This project has been fully funded for two years thanks to the Warwickshire County Council Social Fabric Fund, and our aim is to grow the project as a social enterprise, with a long-term goal of becoming more self-sustaining.
